ACK! Locked up at 94% during the 'Installing the Upgrades' portion....

My laptop has froze up at the 'Installing the Upgrades' portion of the 10.10 to 11.04 upgrade. Do I dare reboot?

Try running from the console: "sudo apt-get update" then "sudo apt-get upgrade"
That will hopefully get the packages you need.

And if Monotoko's suggestion doesn't fix your problems then use that Konsole to issue
sudo apt-get -f install
sudo dpkg --configure -a

repeatedly until no error messages are given. Then reboot.
