I have been running Karmic wonderfully on my HP Mini netbook. I'm trying out Natty from a live USB flash drive and have encountered a problem that makes me hesitant to install. There's no wireless. ifconfig shows no wlan. This machine has the Broadcom 4312 chip: in Karmic I had to use ndiswrapper and the Windows driver, but I thought the problem with the Linux driver was supposed to have been solved. When I run Additional Drivers to install the Broadcom STA wireless driver (with a wired Internet connection), it gets about halfway through before Jockey gives this error: "SystemError: installArchives()failed". I would at least like to get this driver to install. Can it not be done from the live disk?

Re: No wireless--can't install Broadcom driver
Hi....
I noticed others on the forum are having similar problems, although I have no idea why this is happening or how to solve it.
