I was on Kubuntu 10.10 for past six months or so and changed over to 11.04 last week by clicking on the upgrade through the net. I downloaded close to some 1100 packages, gave a message saying that some 80 odd packages are not supported any longer and asked me whether to remove them and I opted to remove them. After the upgrade, I find this version to be much better (user friendly and faster) than all the versions since 9.04 that I have seen and worked on.
With 10.10 version, I had that automatic login wherein the system did not ask me for my password at the time of login. From the time I upgraded to 11.04, it is asking for password every time I start the computer. Since I am the only user for my desktop, I don't mind entering passwords when it is necessary to upgrade or make changes, but not for every start of the computer. Can someone please tell me what to do to avoid this?
