    ctrl+alt+l won't lock screen

    and i can't find where to look for the setting, any help?
    edit, oh yeah, it's kde 4.6.2

    system settings->shortcuts and gestures-> global keyboard shortcuts. component = "run command interface".

      hmmmm, ok, it's set default for ctrl+alt+L. but i get no screen lock.... any ideas?
      and i just tried to right click my desktop and select lock screen but it does nothing... ?

        Works here on my Toshiba laptop.
        Windows no longer obstructs my view.

          check the "custom shortcuts" tab, be sure the input deamon is running at start up.

              i know this might sound odd by try to change the combo that activates the action and see if that makes any differance.
