desktop effects not working after upgrade

    Hi
I upgrade my kubuntu from 10.10 to 11.04.
I have no problem with desktop effects in 10.10 but after upgrading to 11.04 I should disable desktop effects.
When I try to enable it, everything is too slow.

    Direct Redering/3D Accelerator:
    Vendor: Intel Corporation
    Device: 82945G/GZ Integrated Graphics Controller
    Subvendor: Giga-byte Technology
    Revision: 02
    Direct Rendering/Driver:
    Vendor: Tungsten Graphics, Inc
    Renderer: Mesa DRI Intel(R) 945G GEM 20100330 DEVELOPMENT x86/MMX/SSE2
    OpenGL version: 1.4 Mesa 7.10.2
    Kernel module: i915

All is same as my Graphic Information on 10.10 but:
"OpenGL version" is "1.4 Mesa 7.9-devel" on 10.10

I have a complete backup from my 10.10 and I compare some directories such as /etc/X11 and /usr/lib/X11 but I found not important differences.

    Thanks

Uncheck the Blur effect and see if things don't improve a lot.

      Yes, Thanks.
I unpunched it, now everything is good.
But why? What is the problem of blur effect?

You have an Intel GPU, yes? That's the problem. Same here with mine.
