I just performed a fresh install on the 10 gig partition I have for root.
Now when I start the os I get the "Kubuntu" screen (with the small dots) then I get the box with the 5 icons. About half way through the icons gaining focus everything freezes.
Mainboard: Asus M4a785D-M pro with Radeon 4200 onboard graphics
CPU: AMD Althlon II x4 635
Memory: 2 gig
All the above worked fine with previous versions of Kubuntu.
What should I do?
