Re: No more nfs tab in Dolpin
i remember reading about this on planetkde. the nfs share option was removed from dolphin because it really had no place there as user changeable, nfs exports should only be handled by root (or something along those lines was the reasoning)
you will have to add just make a /etc/exports file manualy its not that hard,
<sharepath> <can access> ( <options>)
/media/archive/archive 192.168.0.101(rw,sync,no_subtree_check)
with minimal research you can find all about how to do ranges, of addresses and the other options.Mark Your Solved Issues [SOLVED]

Re: No more nfs tab in Dolpin
I know about /etc/exports, but it was much easier with that tab before. The root problem it was easy solved with entering the password.
Its about making a user friendly OS and to remove the nfs tab was again a step away from it. Way remove things that function quite good?
We need a GUI at least like this:

Re: No more nfs tab in Dolpin
Just click to "edit location" or use <ctl><l> (that's control + L). Delete the path shown. When the field is empty, there will appear a dropdown list that says "file V". nfs will be listed there as one of the protocol options.
