Hi.
I owe a Samsung N130 netbook and I would like to install Kubuntu on it. The thing came with Windows 7 Starter installed and I would dearly like to get rid of it, because it really sucks.
I have installed Kubuntu 11.04 on an USB stick and I'm trying it. It looks great, but ..... No internet connection.
I already tried Ubuntu 10.04 for netbooks (months ago) and that didn't even find my router (or any other). Kubuntu 11.04 does find it and that of my neighbour, but whatever I try I can not make it connect.
I'm far from being a Guru, but I have looked up the settings under Windows 7 (which works), but they are quite different to what I see under 11.04.
Can somebody please tell me what to do ?
I have already searched the Ubuntu forums when I tried Ubuntu 10.04 and I noticed that the Samsung N130 posed connection problems and some missing driver had to be installed (far to complicated for me). As 11.04 does find networks, has this problem been taken care of ?
Greetings,
Michael
