Hi I've been playing with this for a while
I have an EasyCap DC60+ card that I bought to convert my VCR videos to DVD.
The current status I can now get video with VLC (It actually works OOTB once you know the setting to use ) but the audio component doesn't work. In getting to this stage I had considerable assistance here

I do have good sound using a little USB Sound card and a 2 RCA into a 3.5mm jack but it would be nice the card could be made to work - although I can't see anyone who claims success anywhere.
When the card is plugged in kde kmix recognises it as an audio device , but I understand the issue is thrown up by this line when I run dmesg
I'm told that that may be an improper installation of the driver.
It's no big deal but if anyone has any thoughts as to what, if anything, I can do to get the audio bit of this card working?
TIA
Ian
