Good Evening,
Has anyone had experience with setting up the proprietary ATI driver (fglrx) with 11.04? My setup is with a ASRock 890GM Pro3 MB with an ATI HD 4290 GPU, and a PCie HD 5670. I'm trying to use the ATI drivers instead of the open source for better 3D and OpenGL support. I successfully installed the driver with just the 4290 (without the 5670 in the system), but when trying to use the ATI driver with the 5670 KDE crashes during boot (I cannot disable the motherboards 4290, can only set the PCIe as the primary). I've scoured the Internet for a similar situation, but all the posts regarding the ATI drivers relate to either a single GPU or using a dual head monitor setup.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated !
Thanks
