problem with new wdei screen monitor [solved]

Now when I move my mouse to the bottom of the screen it scrolls the screen ... I can scroll it back up and than my desktop fits the screen.

i don't have compiz installed have a nvidia card how do i lock the screen to stop this i am sure this was a feature to help but is driving me nuts

Probably you have your virtual desktop (aka viewport) set larger than your screen.

my wife got annoyed with an rebooted
