XDriInfo returned with non-zero exit code.

I'm still having problems with my video. GLXgears doesn't work, YouTube videos don't work, and I get the error shown above.

Also, if I try to display OpenGL/GLX info in NVIDIA X Server settings, the program closes.

Jockey shows video driver activated but not currently in use.

Video card is a GeForce GT 220.

I would suppose oshunluvr was referring to this advice in the link:

        * Search before you ask. You are not alone. Many of the problems
that you are facing have happened before to other users. Some of
them have come up on these forums before. You can save yourself
a lot of time by using the search function to get an answer to
your question without even asking. How's that for service?
since if you put something like "driver activated but not currently in use" in the search window for this forum (or in Google, for that matter), you soon come to this kind of information:

Exactly. It was late in the evening and I had run low on patience. I was afraid if I commented I might come across as less than polite.

dibl, myself and doctordruphd have answered this or similar posts about twenty times in the last couple of weeks. I just don't think it's too much to ask others to put in at least a minimum effort such as a search and a single attempt to address their own issues - but that's just my problem I guess.

Puhh -- they pulled the microsoft one too. It's a nothingburger -- just a leftover from days of yore when search engines were more primitive.

I only wish it was my original idea, but .....

Sorry for not searching first. I hate to sound like I am complaining but I always search before posting in the past, and the search results were not very relevant. Sounds like I shoulda done it this time.
