Understanding Kubuntu 11.04...

I was wondering with all the sweeping changes that is happening with ubuntu how does this relate to kubuntu? ie. usage of wayland, release schedules(i read rumours of rolling releases), notifications... etc

Just trying to understand it all! Thnx in advance

outside of Wayland - which will not be something that will come soon - very little to nothing actually. Release schedules are the same as Ubuntu's. Rolling release type of thing is nothing more than speculation/opinion/discussion at the moment. Notifications have been shared in both Ubuntu/Kubuntu for a while now already, actually. But as we use KDE in Kubuntu, not much of the ui changes will be present in our non-gnome desktops.

Neither Kubuntu nor Ubuntu will be using Wayland for 11.04.

Sweet so 11.04 should be a nice incrementally improved release of maverick... essentially.
