ttf-lao made it impossible to upgrade to Natty

I had a test laptop running Kubuntu 10.10 and I decided to upgrade to the pre-release of Natty. This was last monday.
All seemed to work fine, untill it tried to install ttf-lao, then everything stopped. In the details part of KPackage it showed an EULA from Microsoft with an OK button. However, this could not be used. So KPackage kept waiting and wiating.... for 3 days.
After this I restarted the laptop and as expected it could not start again, because of the partly upgraded system.
I have now reinstalled Kubuntu 10.04 from CD and will start over.

    Had anyone else this problem?

There is (was?) an identical problem with sun java. The only solution I know of is to upgrade from the command line using apt-get

When these EULA pop-ups appear, you just hit the Tab key until the OK button is 'active' and then you press Enter.
