I'm not sure if I have a hardware issue or a software issue.
I've got a 64-bit machine with an LG Blu-Ray burner. Tonight I tried to use it to back up a large quantity of photos to a BD-R disk. According to the help and change log for K3B it looks like it should support BD-R disks.
When I loaded the disk in the drive the Available Devices tool didn't recognize that the disk had been inserted like it does when I insert a CD-R. So, obviously, K3B couldn't do anything either since it didn't know about the disk.
Since the OS didn't detect the disk insertion, might there be something wrong with the way the drive is configured? Might there be drivers to load that I am missing?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
