[SOLVED] Latest KDE 4.5 Release for Maverick?

Hi.

I've been using Kubuntu 10.10 for a few months. I have KDE 4.5.5 installed from ppa:kubuntu-ppa. The repo has given me updates on KDE components quite often, but they have always been version 4.5.5. My question is, are there newer versions of KDE 4.5 for 10.10 (such as KDE 4.5.6)? If so, do I need to enable a different repo to install it?

http://techbase.kde.org/Schedules/KD...lease_Schedule shows that version 4.5.5 was the last update issued. Development then moved on to 4.6. I think there is a back-ports repository that you can enable that will give you version 4.6 albeit unsupported.

Enable Kubuntu Backports if you want to upgrade to kde 4.6.2:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kubuntu-ppa/backports
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
