    Ripping a CD

This should be basic as all get out, yet I seem to be having issues doing this quickly and consistently with 10.10.

Amarok for whatever reason doesn't create any file. It'll create the folder structure, but nothing else.

K3B works great, except it doesn't write any id3 tags.

How can I get either of these to work correctly or is there a better app for ripping? Ideally, I want something I can just toss in, click okay, and rip away. I have like a 1000 CDs I'm (re)ripping.

sound-juicer is in the 11.04 "universe" repo -- I can't check 10.10. If it is in the repo, no need to download it, just apt-get it.

But use your package management GUI to review the dependencies, and make sure you have them all.
