[SOLVED] loose sound after upgrade from lucid to maverick

    hi dudes

After the full upgrade from lucid tomaverick I loose the sound on my system. It seems there is a new sound system phonon and it detects my sound card Terratec DMX6Fire (+ Audio Interned analog Stereo which I pu as second in the list in Media configuration tool) but testing both cards do not produce any sound (everything is well plugged up)... any clues please ? (it worked perfectly with lucid, except input for recording...)

I already checked many known audio problem with maverick and tried some few solutions without success ; my sound card is recognised buy no sound out.
Here is my alsa configuration if it could help:

    thanks in advance

    Try the following command:
    Code:
    sudo apt-get purge pulseaudio
    rm $(kde4-config --localprefix)/share/config/phonondevicesrc
    rm $(kde4-config --localprefix)/share/config/*notifyrc
sudo dpkg-reconfigure linux-sound-base #choose alsa on popup dialog
    sudo shutdown -r now

thanks ubuntuku, but I upgrated up to natty and the problem is solved... I had to make some very few manipulations, but nothing special (changing main channel in kmix, changing card order in configuration...).
