    Plasma dictionary.

The Plasma dictionary widget has stopped working on all of my Kubuntu 10.10 systems. I have played around with Akonadi, added a language to locale and removed and replaced the widget, but nothing works.

Its no grate problum, but I do relie on it rather alot.

      Re: Plasma dictionary.

And, just as suddenly, it was working again on all systems and kwallet stopped. Then smbfs refused to work.

I reinstalled Kubuntu without keeping my home partition and all is now well, again!

It does appear that smb4k is currently broken, though and was not reinstalled.

        Re: Plasma dictionary.

The plasma dictionary is using the www.dict.org.

If the dict.org is down or you are offline then the plasma dictionary is not working

        i.e > https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=254581
I recentrly entered a new bug because i was thinking dictionary plasmoid wasn't
working after my last kde upgrade...but that was just a malfunction of the
dict.org site. It would be nice if the plasmoid could show an error when it
        can't fetch the data.
