firefox - no graphix - huh?!?

WTH?? Right in the middle of something I was doing, Firefox looses it's ability to display graphics - any ideas? I had to switch to Konqueror. Example: This page has graphics in it (equations) that I need to see:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orthogonal_matrix

None of the graphics now display on it in Firefox. VERY weird! I tried getting rid of DownloadHelper but that didn't fix anything. I'm wondering if there is a Kubuntu/*nix engine that simulates windows' engine(s) under Firefox to display graphics and maybe it broke? I checked in Preferences and Javascript and Load Images *are* checked... I did just do an automatic update. What borke?

no idea what it could be, but pretty much firefox is using its own things to do all its work, so something got borked specific to that. I would suggest clearing your cache, and perhaps even your cookies

also this may have some info to try:

also you can try creating a fresh firefox profile to see if it something specific to your current setup:

Thank you - I will work on it. It sort of seems to be specific to Wikipedia, so it's likely a cache thing like you suggest.

Try clicking on View>Page Style and make sure it did not get changed to No Style somehow. If it did, change it back to Basic Page Style. I sometimes use No Style when the graphics on a page don't display correctly and an input box is hidden.
