    Fan speed control

Are there any applications out there which enables me to control my fan speeds in kubuntu 10.10?
Something equivalent to SpeedFan in Windows?

With lm-sensors I can get a reading of my temps, fan speeds etc. But I can't use the "pwmconfig" command to take control over the fans which everyone seems to be suggesting for this purpose. My setup apparently doesn't have any pwm-sensors according to the response I get after using pwmconfig in the terminal. I'm using a P5N32-E SLI with a Core 2 Duo E6750 and the CPU-cooler I have makes far too much noise at the current fan speed (60% which is the lowest I can set it to run at in the BIOS). In Windows I use SpeedFan to set it to 30% which is more than adequate in terms of cooling, and the noise level is pretty much non-existent.

EDIT: I know for a fact that I do indeed have pwm-modules because if I didn't I wouldn't have been able to control the fan through SpeedFan in Windows, right?

EDIT NR 2: Seems to be some sort of conflict with the acpi.
lm-sensors apparently has some issues with asus-boards and the it87 sensor chip.
Working...
