Google Chrome, can't resize address bar [SOLVED]

I can't seem to be able to resize the address bar in Google Chrome. This is annoying because it's causing my extension buttons to autohide to the point that only one is visible, and I want to see all of them. If I try to drag the address bar to the left to shrink it and make room for the extension buttons, it just snaps back to its previous size once I release the mouse button. It's quite aggravating.

Does anybody have a solution?

Turns out it's something to do with using the GTK+ theme instead of the "classic" theme. Once I set my preferences back to "Use classic theme", I was able to resize the bar again.
