I am trying to set up ibus with kubuntu, it works fine for the most part, but i cant get open office/ libre office, or skype, to work with ibus. It seems other people have had this problem but i haven't found a solution that works for me yet.
I have tried adding these lines to the end of the .basrc file (i don't know if i put them in the right place however), but it didn't work
export GTK_IM_MODULE=ibus
export XMODIFIERS=@im=ibus
export QT_IM_MODULE=ibus
I also saw a tutorial that recommended adding the same lines to xsessionrc, but i don't have this file
So i am stuck.
