    Recorditnow Video issue

    Hi,

I am having a issue getting recorditnow to work on my Laptop.

When I start recording I get a error Failed to Grab.

I ran recorditnow from a terminal session. The output is below:

QInotifyFileSystemWatcherEngine::addPaths: inotify_add_watch failed: No such file or directory
QFileSystemWatcher: failed to add paths: /home/xxxx/.config/ibus/bus
Bus:pen: Can not get ibus-daemon's address.
    IBusInputContext::createInputContext: no connection to ibus-daemon

Can anyone help as I really liked this program and need to create some screen casts.

    Extra information:

    Operating system: Kubuntu 10.10
    Graphics Driver: Nvidia
    Recoritnow version: Recorditnow 0.7

    Thanks

      Hi Vinny,

      Thanks for responding.

I have watched your video and unfortunately i don't have ffmpeg-recorder as a option I only have record my desktop.

Running recordmydesktop from the terminal works fine and records the whole screen so I am sure it is how the command is being sent from Recorditnow.

should I start looking into ffmpeg-recorder for the codec or can you shed any light on the recordmydesktop plug-in.

      Thanks again!

Have you been to About recordMyDesktop and read the two links in "Before using recordMyDesktop, it is suggested that you..." just down a bit on the page?
