understand why effects crash

Hello, i've an intel intgrated graphic card,
VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 945GM/GMS, 943/940GML Express Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03)

3D driver would be the one built in the 10.10, so i should to check the box "enable effects" and all sould work... But really often they crash...why?

More over how to restore original settings of the bottom bar, wher there is the clock and all background running programs? Because disappeared the central part, where i could see the buttons of the opened windows...

Check that you have mesa-utils package installed. If it is not installed, install it.

Right-click on a blank area of the Panel and select Panel Options > Add Widgets... and install Task Manager.
