verson upgrade "nag"

I'm tired of dismissing the dialog box that pops up in my 10.4 install inviting me to do a dist upgrade to 10.10. How do I make it take a hike? I want to stick with the LTS version until I can find time to do a complete rebuild which should get rid of a few years of cruft.

which KDE ver. ?

anyway open Kpackagekit and go to settings>edit software sources> click the updates tab and under "show new distribution releases" make sure you have "long term support releases only" selected .
