Show only icons on panel

Hello,

I'm searching a way to show only the icons of opened applications in the panel...
II have it at my office pc (windows 7) and i like it more than the standard 'icon + text'

Does anyone has an idea how to doe this in Kubuntu?

hi, SmoothTask will do this.

You'll have to remove the regular tasks bar, but Smooth is worth it.

The regular task bar will slim down to icons only if you move the panel to the side of the screen (rather than the top or bottom) and resize it to an "icon-friendly width".
