(SOLVED) no sound in firefox on some type of hyperlink

In ubuntu 10.10, my firefox browser will work well on yutube, where I can get the sound of my favorite popular tunes.

However, on some links other than youtube, there is no sound at all within ubuntu.

For instance, this is the case of some spanish radio stations:

http://www.rtve.es/radio/#crn_radio5

On the right in rne radio nacional en directo, when I select Radio 5 todos noticias, I can hear the selected station, when I use another linux distribution: Zenlive.

What could be the problem?

Maybe some additional information could be given:

This does not seem to be related to the hardware as I get the same problem on both laptops that I have, that is a MSI 340x and a hp pavilion 1540ca.

I work with ubuntu 10.10.

I just fired up my Firefox (ver 3.6.12) (I'm running KDE 4.5.3) and accessed the link you cited (http://www.rtve.es/radio/#crn_radio5) and clicked on the Radio 5 todos noticias link. I'm listening to the audio without any issues at all.
