Yes, I just had to replace my DSL modem also. Mine was an Actiontec also. But as it had given me many years of good service I replaced it with a similar model. The old one kept disconnecting and reconnecting. I could not download a large file, or streaming video without constant interruptions.

So the router was the cause of your troubles. Nice to hear that you sorted it out, and are back among the 'jet set'.

Yes - I hadn't thought of that. But then I'm so old that 6 years is still in diapers.

i have chromium installed.
but nope.. ff is still my fav. themes and addons are very good in ff.
ok..i agree it takes a second more than chromium while running for the first time.. but afterwards its real zippy.
i could not find any noticeable lag in chromium and firefox when i open this application from second time onward..or even while browsing.
