2 Software Questions (Thunderbird Question Solved)

Shutdown must be completed by pushing the power button. I have tried several methods found by "Google Search" (edit grub) It restarts okay. Using Nvidia Current driver, it is also the same with "173" and "open source" drivers.

Also how can one set Fire Fox as default from the Thunderbird E-Mail client. When I click a link in an email it brings up the web page in Rekonq rather than Fire Fox. I have tried using "System Settings - DeFault Applications" web browser tab shows "/usr/bin/firefox"

    Thanks in advance

    Re: 2 Software Questions

If you have http and https listed in Thunderbird's "Attachments" preferences, you can switch those to /usr/bin/firefox (or wherever your Firefox is).

      For Thunderbird question:

Edit --> Preferences. Then on the resulting screen go to the "Attachments" TAB. For the "http" entry in the "Actions" column use the pull down menu. In most cases it should already have FireFox listed. Click OK.

Tried Edit - Preferences - Attachments - Action; the field is empty but I am unable to make changes in it.

        Thanks
