Firefox 3.6.10 Add-on installation issue

Hello,

I'm using Kubuntu 10.10 x86 and FF 3.6.10. This is a fresh install.
I'm trying to install the Addblock Plus addon and get the following error:

Firefox could not install the file at 

[url]https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/downloads/file/96877/adblock_plus-1.2.2-fx+sm+tb+fn.xpi?src=api&confirmed=1[/url]

because: Download error
-228

I already tried deleting the profile folder, but no luck.
Any ideas?

Not sure what's occuring for you, but here, on my 10.10 32-bit running Firefox 3.6.11, I was able to install Ad Block Plus without any problems.

Have you attempted to reinstall the ad-on?

OK, thank. I'll try to update it to 3.6.11.
I can't reinstall it because I haven't got to install it in the first place .

Seems I get the same error with 3.6.11.
I'll try on the Mozilla forums, maybe I can see what the error means.
