recently, as a long time UNR and later UNE user, i upgraded from UNE 10.04 to UNE 10.10 (unity) and became very disappointed in it. my machine is an eee 1000 hd and was having great trouble to cope with unity. not to mention that lousy left panel that took my precious space for good.
anyway, i installed kubuntu desktop (sudo apt install kubuntu-desktop) and system found a best solution for my hardware (e.g. switched to plasma).
everythink came honky dory for me. all the apps from UNE remained intact, and I even get some new features. i'm enjoying my old computer as well as the new slick and nice plasma GUI.
my question is:
when i update, will i get kubuntu updates or une updates? i'm asking this coz i don't wanna get gnome updates and not get kde ones.
do anybody knows anything about this?
