Edit: hit the F5 to refresh the desktop, then the softlink icon will change to the appropriate icon, in this case it is the icon of a directory.
Hi,
I'm facing a problem whereby a softlink doesn't work until it is manually updated.
I've created a softlink to link to a directory on a Windows 7 partition. Currently, I have to fire up Dolphin file manager, mount the partition, right click on the softlink -> properties, before I could click on that softlink to bring me to the intended directory.
That's quite a hassle just to go to a directory. So, the question is, is there another method or is this a bug?
I'm using Kubuntu 10.10.
