    The old Akonadi problem (solved)

    Hi all

decided to give the KDE Pim application suite another go. Followed the advice at

    http://kubuntuforums.net/forums/inde...pic=3112175.15

However, I can't seem to get any of the apps to work. Akonadi configuration module won't allow me to add resources - in fact I can't start akonadi at all >

I have attached the error log file and would appreciate it if someone could give me a clue where things are going wrong. I have set akonadidictl to run at startup, and have installed mysql server et al.

    Thanks

Solved - deleted the akonadi folders in home/.kde/share/apps and home/.local/share gave it a clean start and it worked.

I think the folder in home/.kde must be historic as upon Akonadi being re-run the folder hasn't been created.
