Why I love linux?!?!

I love it, because it so broken. It gives me something to do and gives me a first hand experience i what can go wrong.

I love kubuntu because everything is so simple even a noob like me can understand it and the forums are not as cluttered as ubuntu so i can just grab my phone logon and be like "Oh **** my computer just spontaneously combusted!!! The fire department is one the way but i think the pizza guy is gonna get here first... tell me the command i type in to activate my computers builtin sprinkler system."

I'll give it a whack:

$ sudo apt-get install watering bucket

then:

$ chmod +x waterbucket

To be able to get anyone to run it so that things will be safe:

$ chmod ugo+rx waterbucket
$ ls -l waterbucket
-rwxr-xr-x 1 YOURUSERNAME other 55 Mar 22 14:04 waterbucket

So now you can go to a shell and:

$ waterbucket

Just a thought. Dunno.

I use a similar script to open and close my coffee cup holder.
