    I just bought a

    Compaq Presario 15.6" Laptop featuring AMD V-Series V140 (CQ56-104CA) - Black

    for my mom for Xmas and it came with HP's crap filled win7 install... I decided to install Kubuntu 10.10

    Besides one or two fancy shortcut keys it was a flawless install with everything recognized and works great!

    That's how it went when I installed 10.04 on my HP Pavilion dv9830, alongside Windows Vista.

      ps. My mom says she likes Kubuntu better than windows7... only two things bug her

      1. The button to change desktop background from firefox does not work

      2. When she logs out it looks ****ty.
