    Kontact Personal Information Manager WORKS!

Wow, that was a really pleasant suprise! Just decided to try Kontact, and specifically, the Address Book. It all 'just works' unlike the tweaking that was required to get it all working correctly (with akonadi) in Lucid and Karmic. No tweaking required in Maverick at all - none. Sweet. 8)

    Snowhog,
See if you can change (add or delete numbers) from one of your kontacts.
I had it import my exchange contacts and it assigned a lot of the multiple entries to "other". (For those contacts with a Home phone, Cell, Work, etc.)

When I try and change the others entries to "home", "mobile" etc. it won't allow me to.
If I add Cell, Home, etc. it shows them along with the "Other" ones.

If I attempt to delete the "Others" entries, it deletes the new ones first!
I can't seem to be able to tell it to delete the entry I have the cursor on and not delete the last bit of data which was added to the record.

    Maddening to say the least.

Latest updates (4.4.8) have completely broken the address book for me.

4.4.9 on 11.04 appears to have fixed vCard/vCal.
