how to install plasma netbook without the full install?

Hi

I have a new machine on which I want the minimal netbook edition without the rest. It's easy enough to install the full 10.10 and then convert it, but how can I install ONLY the netbook edition in a clean install?

I suspect it has something to do with the Alternate CD and finding where to put the command:

sudo apt-get install kde-plasma-netbook

or

sudo apt-get install kubuntu-netbook

but where/how?

I've had a search, but can't find anything conclusive.
