I got to thinking that, given it was a valid question, that several distros that I've tried "live" would not give access to installing new software because they were a ...ummmm....live cd... now yes, i guess that software could be installed into ram but anyway...
IF it was a valid question, I wonder if there was just something messed up with the USB install that would not allow new software a'la the live cd thing.
If so, is there a database of info that the people who have done usb installs(for sale) over the past coupla years or is it "probably" just a hardware thing since it was NDIS wrapper anyway...
But it may have been a troll thing..
dunno, it just ran through my mind, in one ear and out the other!
But this is a welcome little heaven of politeness in the big and brutal www (even if we do have "discussions" over in the café section ) and the less blockheads the better.
