Well sir, I tried both of your suggestions, neither of which did any good. I'm backing up all of my files onto an external HD and plan on reinstalling the whole system, do you have any suggestions on how I should proceed with uninstalling linux and reinstalling Kubuntu from a jump drive? I know all about modifying my BIOS, wiping my disks should be something I should be able to do from the BIOS correct? If you have any info on a good link to this process, please let me know. I just foresee a clean installation as the least troublesome and most effective choice at the moment.
