    Kubuntu cancel installation

    Hello,

im from Germany. I hope you can understand me.
For 2 weeks, i installed Kubuntu 10.10 from the USB-Device (700MB Version). I think, Kubuntu is a good OS.

But today, i would install the bigger Kubuntu version (3,8GiB). I build a Startup USB Device in Kubuntu an i want to install this bigger version on my Samsung N150-Endi.

But between the installation, kubuntu installation cancel because ubi-partman failed with exit code 10. If i ignore, oder retry, the installation dont finished.

Waht can i do? Is the startup Device incorrect? Can i start the installation with other parameters to finish the installation?

Does your current install still boot?

There's actually no "bigger" version of Kubuntu, the CD install provides more files at install than the USB version does. But once you're running, you can install anything you want.

If you feel like you're missing some things that are part of the kubuntu desktop, open a terminal and type

    sudo apt-get update
    sudo apt-get install kubuntu-desktop

You should be fully installed then.
