I am not quite sure what happened...
After booting up, plasma-desktop seems to just run away and freeze up. My computer starts fine [well, sort of fine] and auto-logs me into X. Then plasma-desktop just sort of freezes. The clock on my panel isn't ticking and there is a weird blinking light on the bottom right corner of my screen - between the panel and the edge of the screen.
I can't click on anything, either in any of the folders, on the desktop, or on the panel/menu. Alt+F2 works, which gives me a terminal where I kill off a plasma-desktop process that is taking up 100% of a processor and a bunch of memory. Plasma-netbook works, but isn't ideal.
If I restart plasma-desktop, or reboot, the same thing happens.
I have already tried reinstalling both kubuntu-desktop and plasma-desktop. Rebooted and nothing new.
Any ideas? I am worried that a desktop setting or something is causing this thing to run away but I am not sure how I would run this down or change it outside of plasma.
