Hello everybody,
I just purchased the Asus EeePC 1015PEM and installed Kubuntu Maverick for netbook on it. I'm quite amazed and positively impressed that everything seems to work out-of -the-box (didn't try bluetooth and microphone yet).
I just have a small issue with the wireless. When I set the "powersave" profile in powerdevil, the wireless doesn't work. The applet says I'm connected and shows the proper IP address, but in fact I cannot ping my router.
So I have to use the "performance" profiles even if I'm running with the batteries. But still it seems that when I'm not browsing for a while, the wireless goes in "rest" and in order to get to the internet again I have to switch off and on the wlan card.
Suggestions anyone how to avoid this issue?
