wicd or default network manager applet
i am using the default network manager applet i suppose :-)

ok..
here is what i did to get my Reliance NetConnect USB mobile Broadband to work.
1. Plug in the usb and wait for 5 seconds to let detect kubuntu that it is mobile broadband.
2. click on the network manager icon on taskbar. you will see broadband icon ther.
3. click on Manage Connections->Mobile Broadband ->Add (GSM or CDMA..whichever service provider you have)
4. Now you will have to key in the details provided by service provider.
e.g. Mine is CDMA broadband.
Access Number: #777
username: <10 digit mobile number>
password: <10 digit mobile number>
5. ok now the connection is ready. Click on the name of connection you just created.
6. enjoy
