    Sprint Overdrive not working

Just got a new Sprint Overdrive WIFI unit and I cannot connect with it as all my computers say the same thing "Password invalid" does anyone know if it works with Kubuntu and what is the trick to use it, as I can connect using a different router and it works at all coffee shops without a problem I am using WICD as my network manager. Thanks in advance Richard

Case sensitivity on passwords, but you do know this, yes?

If you have the option to display the password in 'plain text' when you type it in, give that a try.

You are usining Wicd. Did you remove all vestiges of Networkmanager after installing Wicd? There is a know issue with Wicd in Kubuntu 10.10 (not Wicd's fault). If certain parts of Networkmanager are still present, Wicd will have problems.

From Greygeeks Re: knetworkmanager disabled reply:
FIRST, install ALL of the files with "wicd" in their name. Should be about five of them.

THEN, completely remove the following packages:

        modemmanager
        network-manager
        network-manager-openconnect
        network-manager-openvpn
        network-manager-pptp
        network-manager-vpnc
        knm-runtime
        network-manager-kde
        plasma-widget-networkmanagement

        then reboot.
Then run wicd: K --> Internet --> wicd
When wicd comes up configure your wireless connection.
