copying files to windows share from Dolphin / Konqueror

After upgrading to Meerkat, it seems I can no longer copy files to a window share.

Now whenever I try to copy a file to a windows share it fails. The first 32K seems to copy, but if the file is larger it wont work. I have no problems copying files from a windows share.


I am sure I did not have this problem previously. I have tried searching for this problem but can't seem to find anyone else with the same issues.


Has anyone else noticed this problem ?

I've not seen the problem. To test, I just moved a 3.7GB file from a local HD to a SAMBA share. Completed successfully in under 4 mins.

Ok thanks for that. I am updating a laptop to try also.

When you say you uploaded a file to a samba share do you mean a shared folder on a linux box or a windows share ?

same problem here, both with ubuntu and kubuntu narwhal.
