Wireless printer working w/strange notification message when printing

When ever I print using my Epson wireless printer all works well but I get a strange notification message as the pages are being prepared for printing: printer "Epson nx625" may not be connected. Any idea why I'm getting this notification message?

I have two wirless printers. Never seen that error message. But neither one of mine is an Epson. So I am going to make a wild guess here about what is happening. Could it be that the printer has a power saving mode that shuts it down when not being used. When you send a print job to it, it may take it a few seconds to wake up. It then prints. Thats a swag.

Yes, it does have a power saving mode, that just may be what is happening. I will hit one of the buttons prior to printing to see if I get the same notification message.

Thanks for providing a plausible reason for the message.
