First of all hello to everyone.
I have a rather ridiculous problem with my hp mini cq10-500ev. My wireless card is the RT3090 and after installing kubuntu the driver loaded it was rt2800pci I blacklisted it and the rt2860sta was loaded after rebooting. Here comes my problem I need to connect to a wireless access point that broadcasts on channel 12(I live in Europe :P) at my work but the wireless card is scanning for the 11 first channels only. Google hasn't been of much help and I didn't see anything related on this forum. This is getting on my nerves because I think the solution is probably something really simple but I can't find it. Does anyone here have any idea?
