system powers down on it own

i just installed(clean)and updated 10.10 but it keep shutting down on its own? any help?

Hardware eg laptop/desktop make and model

A fuller description of the symptoms, eg

How long is it before it shuts down?
Is it always when you are doing something in particular?
Does it only do it when you are NOT doing something?

does it do it w/ another os (like its overheating then shutting it self off..)
