Only one program can use soundcard at one time

The problems started this weekend when I updated the kernel and KDE to 4.6 RC1. After the reboot there was a notification that some audio devices were not there any more and if I want the system to forget them permanently.

Now if I play some music with Amarok the sound doesn't work for anything else (notifications, flash,..). I have to exit Amarok, to have sound in flash. When sound works in Firefox it doesn't in Amarok until I exit Firefox.

I removed pulseaudio at once when I upgraded to Maverick 6 month ago.

My soudcard is integrated on my mother board: ALC889A.

I have to stress that playing sound from multiple programs used to work without a problem.

    Please help.

I noticed, that only phonon programs (Amarok, notifications,..) stole the soundcard. So I installed (and set as default) VLC Phonon backend and this fixed my problems.

Here, with my Intel N10/ICH 7 Family High Definition Audio Controller, I'm using the Phonon Xine backend, and everything works fine.
